Abstract
  • The aim of the study reported in this publication was to investigate the procedural and financial problems involved in the use of disposable equipment and materials and thus to help assess to what extent it was possible to use disposables in place of more conventional equipment and materials that are customarily cleaned, sterilised and used again. Procedural problems included the storage, distribution and disposal of disposables.
