Abstract
  • This pack is designed to help all those people with an interest in, or responsibility for, the development of evidence based practice in line with the clinical governance agenda. It has been drawn together following three years of working with small multi-professional groups and the content was piloted with the help of ten NHS trusts. The pack can be used as a total training package, or dipped into to support learning in one area, depending on local need. The material can be used by trainers, directorate leaders, ward managers and anyone with a responsibility for taking the lead on evidence-based practice and clinical governance. An appendix gives guidance on running sessions and teaching through workshops.
