  • This pamphlet is a report on a two-day meeting which discussed reports that, although most people in Britain seem to understand how A.I.D.S. is transmitted, they are doing little or nothing to alter their sexual behaviour in a way which could reduce their chances of becoming infected. The conference felt that, in the absence of a cure or vaccine against the HIV virus, this paradox had to be resolved if health education was to prevent A.I.D.S. spreading widely and catastrophically through the population.
