  • These comments on the Green Paper on public health, 'Our Healthier Nation', reflect the views of a group of individuals from a wide range of local and national agencies with a role to play in implementing the national public health strategy. These views were expressed during three seminars jointly organised by the King's Fund, the Health Education Authority and the Association for Public Health. These seminars were structured to address the following questions and issues: 'Our Healthier Nation' - is the framework appropriate?; tools for equity in health - asking the right questions and monitoring progress; and partnerships for health - what enables effective joint work and action planning.
