Abstract
  • This report gives an account of the development of the King's Fund London Programme. It was launched in 1979 to develop activities in relation to health care in London. Its broad aim is to identify, encourage and disseminate good practice in inner city areas through a coordinated programme of research projects, conferences, workshops, seminars, publications and other enterprises. The main focus of these initiatives is primary health care services in London and their interrelationship with hospital services.
