Abstract
  • Reasons advanced for the shortage of nurse tutors are often based on guesswork and emotion so it is particularly useful to have an accurate and impartial study like this. The survey analysed the attitudes towards becoming tutors of 684 sisters in teaching hospitals, other general hospitals and psychiatric hospitals, and compared these with the views of 40 trainee tutors.
