Abstract
  • The main aims of the conferences described in this book were to enable participants to learn about supported employment initiatives for people with severe learning difficulties and to exchange information with one another. There were opportunities to meet new people with similar concerns and to develop networks for continuing contact. The day began and ended with plenaries, although the emphasis was on working in small groups where, as well as presentations, there were opportunities for questions and discussion.
