Abstract
  • This conference looked at the work of the community Care Centre, a small community-based GP hospital in inner London. The Centre offers valuable lessons for all health professionals about patient autonomy and participation, collaborative work between professions, GP and community involvement, and imagination in environmental design. The report is not a verbatim transcript of the conference proceedings but attempts to illustrate key themes that were discussed.
