  • This study day aimed to help parents of mentally handicapped children to look ahead to the position of their children as they reached adulthood and to become better informed about their rights and about the services available to them. Five workshops were held dealing with different aspects: employment and further education; housing; health, sex and marriage; civil rights (bank accounts, voting, libraries); guardianship, trusteeship and property.
