  • This workshop was organised to gain factual information about the prevalence and cost of pressure sores to health districts. It was hoped to identify districts where they were already monitoring this, with the aim of identifying positive ways of reducing the problem in the future. The document includes an outline policy for pressure sore management which was drawn up by working groups during the afternoon of the workshop.
