  • This document gives instructions as to how patient satisfaction surveys may be undertaken, particularly in the psychiatric hospital setting. The aim of the study is to : assist psychiatric hospitals to gain information on the views of their patients, both favourable and on priorities for change, and thus enable the hospitals to take action where desirable and practicable; to enable hospitals to compare their results with those of other psychiatric hospitals.
