  • Between 1980 and the end of the century it is estimated there will be a 30 per cent increase in people suffering from dementia, but no equivalent budget growth to maintain current per capita levels of service provision. This project explores the limits of community or domiciliary care for dementia-sufferers, and attempts to identify those for whom it might or might not be appropriate, within a realistic per capita cost.
