Abstract
  • This report is derived from a memorandum submitted to the Griffiths review of community care. It endorses the Audit Commission's diagnosis of the problems besetting community care while expressing reservations over its proposed solutions. The report recommends the adoption of a set of measures designed to build upon what is already taking place in community care services in some local areas.
