  • The NIMROD service is recognised as being to the forefront of the move towards community care. This book uses a case-study approach to illustrate the experiences of seven people with learning difficulties who use this service. The case studies are analysed in terms of a number of interwoven concepts: presence and participation on the community; relationships; competence; choice and status. It also highlights some of the ways in which services for people with learning difficulties are evolving.
