Abstract
  • This publication was commissioned by the King's Fund Informal Caring Support Unit. It is the first book on support groups for carers, whether small and informal or well-established. The author offers suggestions, encouragement and inspiration to all carers. Whether they are starting a new group or helping their own group grow. The book contains many examples of groups and quotations from members plus a series of worksheets designed to help groups tackle tasks like writing a press release, producing a newsletter or organising a public meeting.
