  • This is a report about a group of researchers, all of whom had undertaken studies related to the role of the ward sister. The group was originally formed to discuss the results of their own research. Later they shared their work with triads of professionals in the field, with the aim of putting research into action. This report documents the progress of the project as a whole, from the formation of the original peer group, through dissemination at workshops and conferences. Some of the triads' projects are described; expectations are compared with actual outcomes; and suggestions or recommendations are offered, resulting from experience with the project.
