Abstract
  • This report is based on a search conference which provided a forum for people who share a common concern about a particular issue, that is, community care but who approach that issue from different perspectives. This conference focussed on London and its community services, and how better services could be offered through more appropriate means of developing managers. The project was funded by the NHS Management Executive Developing Managers for Community Care as part of their promotion of new practices in management development.
