This document follows the results of an enquiry to consider and report generally as to the circumstances and conditions under which patients are admitted to casualty and outpatient departments of the London Voluntary Hospitals. It looks especially at what precautions are taken to prevent the admission of people who are unsuitable, and to whether adequate provision is made for the admission of people who are suitable.
