This report describes a system, devised by Cambridge Health District, by which a computer can regularly be used as the means to provide management information. The basis of the system is the standardisation of staff documentation (application form, appointment form, personal details amendment form and leaving form). It is not a sophisticated system but makes use of available computer time using the same basic computer technique that is currently available for salaries or accounts work.
