  • Early in 1987 five health visitor managers and five district nurse managers came together from across London to explore ways of working together in the 'spirit of Cumberlege'. The focus was caring for elderly people in the community. A record was kept of the process of the workshop with a view to this being useful to others. This report describes from the perspective of one of the course leaders what happened on the workshops, how the participants reacted at various stages, and what the pitfalls were as well as the highlights.
